Because what per share number would be fair to a new guy trading 200 share blocks, and a guy like you trading 1000 shares?
Ya, but there's got to be a broker out there who can see the long term advantage of giving you smaller commissions to learn in return for the larger business later. Obviously, the broker doesn't have to, as is the current realm, but Cyber-Corp has talked about going per share publicly...

On another issue, what does MB (or CyberBroker) do for the customer when a fill is slow? Or are there never slow fills?
Continue to thank you for your business...<grin> Yes, there are slow fills, particularly with SOES. Or, worse, you get upticked then filled, if going long...one of the obvious problems with Market orders, as usual...
