Thanks for the link and the excellent answer on DELL.
I have heard before that current month in-money calls can work quite well if you expect the stock to go up significantly. From my novice looks at TA I might expect DELL to continue declines on general market news back down to 96 or so then move up strongly on earnings rumors and potential splits. Does this make sense?

As I said before, I am quite long on DELL in IRA accounts, but have some short term money that I can use for an earnings play also.

Unfortunately, since I haven't done much options work, these have to be paper trades for now.
Also, any idea where novice options traders can go to find the symbols for the different options in a stock, is there a pattern to them?
