I was fortunate in having been able to dial in to the teleconference. I do not believe it is open for general access.

I have found that discussions about investor (short or long) positions do not get discussed during earnings release discussions with the analysts and media. There is a strong sense of diplomacy in the Q & A session. In fact, I personally think in HUM's case, it may be irrelevant. Everyone knows the situation on the NASDAQ short position or they should. Can't keep investors from reacting to their beliefs whether they are based on strong company fundamentals or not.

It was my impression that this week's planned technology announcements could make a dent on the shorts. Then again we've been speculating on how to shake out the shorts for a long tome now, and when we thought what would, it hadn't. So I have given up speculating on what it would take. Seeing will be believing.

Focus of round robin questioning is invariably limited to business discussions...sales, revenues, headcount, new and existing product plans, future projected growth, etc.

Let's hope for a rebound tomorrow. The current share price is rediculously low.

Martin
