Re: "To state that Intel is invulnerable and has not been hurt by AMD seems silly to me. If AMD had not been around they would have shipped another 2M units+ last quarter at higher ASP's and profits would have been at recored levels. With AMD ramping up to 3.5-5M pcs this coming quarter guess what will happen to margins/market share. One or the other WILL BE DOWN."

Kash, If it pleases you I acknowledge that Intel's profits have dropped as a result of AMD and K6's presence. However I think you are suffering from an incredible loss of perspective. Who is truely suffering? Intel because they only made $1.2 Billion while AMD posts 4 straight quarters of losses??? How long can Intel continue to suffer this punishment from AMD? Answer forever. AMD is using their face as a battering ram trying to knock down fortress Intel. All you can do is focus on the ugly blood stains on the fortress door. Don't you think your perspective is a little skewed? Shouldn't you be wondering where the blood is coming from??? Hint: It isn't Intel's.
