Speaking of Yahoo: I really didn't know what hype was until I started observing Yahoo. Yahoo is Hype City USA. When I visit Yahoo, I know I am in the Jungle. And always prepare myself to expect the unexpected. When I first signed up for the Internet, I found myself at Yahoo, and for a moment, I thought that all of the Internet would be like Yahoo, crude, filthy and foul. Then I found Silicon Investor and discovered that people can post in a responsible manner. The Main Problem with Yahoo, is that one can have multiple false identities to hide behind. And this gives them their license to say "anything." Yahoo is the definition of a place "where anything goes." My opinion of Yahoo continues to remain very low, because as I go back to visit time to time, the same foul behavior is seen again and again. (i.e. nothing has changed, obviously Yahoo doesn't care.) At SI, for such behavior, one will get suspended and have their posts deleted.
