Well, I do not know how did you come to the conclusion that over the last year
MSFT's growth rate has slowed down considerably, and what data is your conclusion is based on. However , based on the data from SI (Company profile), I will like to
show you the following data:

3/31/97 6/30/97 9/30/97 12/31/97 3/31/98 6/30/98
Rev (MM) 3208 3175 3130 3585 3774 3995
Net profit
(MM) 1035 1060 959 1126 1337 1350

Net profit
margin(%) 32.3% 33.4% 30.6% 31.4% 35.4% 33.8%

I did not see the revenues or profit margin slowed down considerably in either
1997, or 1998. So, pls explain how do you come to the conclusion that
Microsoft's growth rat has slowed down considerably !!!
