Nancy, It is not fair that, after wasting another day, and about to retire for the night, I run into your post to penni and am inclined to comment on it.

The idea of not being able to separate God from science (with the capital letters displaced, I believe), you attribute to Einstein. OK.

For almost the entirety of my life I have insisted that a statement like that, or a discussion involving a statement like that, demands a definition of what God (god) is.

Is It a Bearded White Gramps diddling around with His powers? Is It a Totem Pole, or a Particularly Threatening Carnivore? Is It the Evanescent Light Coming Through Stained Glass Windows?

I will easily agree that It cannot be separated from Science. But, what is It that we are considering?

Do I gather that you feel It is a Being Who labored in the creation of individual termites and (horrors from those childhood days at the camp lake!) bloodsuckers?

You should really be able to identify what It is when you begin talking about It.

See, I can do that. I can define god by: WOW! And Science ain't even at square one when it comes to assimilation with it. But you have more buttoned down facts, I assume. I envy you. gsm
