There was no rush to record the events at the time they occurred. Isn't that a little strange for the most important events ever? << There are only feelings or belief on this so it is dependant on your heart. Politicians are aware of how effective lying can be. << THe Catholic Church has kept many, many artifacts including pieces of the body of the Apostles and the Shroud of Turin etc.. These items would not provide belief for a sceptic for the words of Jesus are more powerful and if they are not believed and denied to have existed then there is no help available from physical things. You are right. It comes down to faith. You have been conditioned since a little child to believe these things, and you do. << I can not see the wind but I know it is there by feeling and the evidence of changes around me. I don't force anything or say much, but I do not mind anyone saying they do not believe the Bible but to put effort in disproving it and making the testimony of men that are no longer here to be lies bothers me. >> The wind is made of air which can be measured to find it's constituent elements, pressure, temperature, etc. Not being able to see it is an artifact of being a human. It is not a problem for the proper instruments. This says nothing about the validity of Biblical claims. There was a program on Discovery tonight about people that swore that they were abducted by UFOs. I think that they were sincere, but I don't believe them. I don't feel bad about that even though they are not here to defend themselves. The defenders of the Bible as truth should not be bothered by a mere mortal like me. If they are indeed truths, they will be made stronger by being challenged. If they can't be supported, they should fall, like any other idea that can't be defended. Del
