WD--Speaking of fiberglas tricks, you know that all Fonar has shown at the RSNA is the shell. It's a long step to a working magnet ROOM. What do youthink about putting gradient coils in the walls of a room? As for scanning, you know they don't allow scans to be done at the trade shows, right? Except those ultrasound scans on beautiful thin women models. As ofr hundreds of scans, I shudder to think how long I laid in the Diasonics 0.35T as a resident scanning muscles after exercise. But is a well-kept trade secret that the magnet is one of the best places to steal a cat nap while working! shh. Final I disagree that you always need to know what you will find to prescribe a low-res scan. Muscle screening, for example, should never require high res. Your point about insurance comapnies is excellent, however.
