Dear All,
This thread has clearly developed a split personality. It's serving two purposes that are both important, but fundamentally distinct: on one hand, it's designed to support the process of doing DD on TSIG and making investment decisions; and, on the other hand, it has become a forum for former dealers to share their experiences about prior dealings with DP Enterprises.
I want to approach the Webmistress with a request to create a new thread for the dealers. I propose that it be called "DP Enterprises: Dealer Experiences" and that its primary purpose be to support the ongoing discussion about dealers' experiences. This should give the dealers a more focused and supportive environment for expressing their grievances and developing a collective strategy for addressing those grievances. This should also preserve the integrity of the TSIG investment thread, which has become rather cluttered with discussion of DP Enterprises, which is a separate company altogether.
Because Mr. Piercy is a link between these two distinct companies, I propose that we should ask Herring to edit the introduction to the TSIG thread to provide a link to the new DP Enterprises thread. This would serve to acknowledge that the dealers' experiences do provide information about Mr. Piercy that's useful for deep background, but also to make clear that DP Enterprises and TSIG are in fact distinct companies whose corporate structures, management teams, and business strategies are independent of one another.
I'm writing the thread before making this request because I want to submit it co-signed, with other members of this thread who would like to see a separate DP Enterprises thread. I think this is important because I'm asking the Webmistress to do something that's unusual on SI: create a thread for a private company that has no stated intention of going public or of providing other investment opportunities to the general public.
I appreciate your input on this idea and, if you're so inclined, your support.
Respectfully, Lane |
