ALL... Nokia and MobileOne sign GSM 900 Expansion Contract in Singapore

Summary:
HELSINKI, Finland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1998--MobileOne and Nokia have
signed an agreement for the fifth expansion of MobileOne's GSM network in
Singapore. Nokia will also supply its Switching Cross Connect system (SXCT) and
SXCT test bed for MobileOne's new Main Operating Centre in Jurong, Singapore.
With the increase of data usage over GSM networks, MobileOne is also introducing
High Speed Circuit Switched Data (HSCSD) to allow dramatic increases in data
speeds of up to 57.6kps
