Would you guys really consider using buggy Microsoft code in a mission critical embedded application. Think outside the circle guys. The embedded market will be the biggest game in town shortly. Sure Microsoft will pick up the non realtime stuff. But for every Windows CE sold there will be 10-100 maybe even 1000 embedded RTOS's sold elsewhere. LOL yeah LOL. Read back to a post I put up regarding the future of communication software and ask yourselves how many of these companies would even consider using Windows CE vs a RTOS Remember RTOS = REAL TIME Operating System.
