Apart from the obvious observation that none of us has a good and reliable crystal ball to determine future price action, I think Dell's performance also depends a lot on the overall market activity for this time period. Also, while some fund managers who have done well may be locking in profits per a Cramer story this morning, others who haven't done so well will be looking to market leaders, at any price, to bring their portfolios up to the averages. So in the midst of all these mini stories, and Dell's possible blowout performance for the quarter, don't we also have to look at the macro-economics to get a feeling for where the overall market might be heading?
