Greg -

Apparently Barton has always been negative and this is just more of it. The market doesn't seem to have reacted to him before and so I don't suppose it is this time.

One thing we do know and that is that the market dropped off the cliff as soon as G went to the Congress and then went back the next day. Now when G says things the market has in the past reacted and it's I don't think it would be unfair to draw the conclusion that what the market is now doing is due to his remarks. Not just in the US but in Europe too many articles in the press referring to his negative comments.

Well a lot of dreams of retirement are going to have to be radically reassesed now.
