I was contemplating jumping in on cmgi solely because of the gcty ipo. However, if this bear market continues then I guarantee that there will be no ipo. The geocities people are not morons- they will not go public in a bear market. They will wait for the market to recover, maybe 6 months or longer. In that case, the momentum investors will dump cmgi and it could fall a long ways. I'm not saying it will happen but just pointing out the risk here. And what happens will be determined by the overall market, not cmgi.
