Cashco Management Begins Distribution of 11th Hour Year 2000 -- Y2K -- Software
NEWMARKET, Canada--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1998--Cashco Management Inc. (NASDAQ BB:CSHK - news) announced today that it has received written notification from Zitec International requesting delivery of 10,000 units of the company's 11th Hour Year 2000 (Y2K) analysis and remedy/fix software.
Zitec, a distributor for Cashco technology products, has requested that this draw down of 10,000 units against the company's June order of 40,000 units be delivered in early August so that the company could begin to fill orders against its large backlog.
Commenting on the announcement, George Palmer, President of Zitec, stated, ''Previews of the 'golden code' release of the 11th Hour product provided to key accounts has resulted in order activity and marketing commitments which have exceeded our earlier expectations.''
Under the agreement, Zitec has provided Cashco with an additional distribution and marketing capability in the enormous and highly stratified hospital and health care marketplace. General Computer Technology of King of Prussia, Pa., a distributor and integrator of technology products in the health care and associated industries, has provided Zitec with a commitment for 10,000 units of 11th Hour product. Zitec has provided Cashco with an order of an additional 10,000 units of the 11th Hour product to provide for General's requirement.''
