Salomon First Call Note

At 8:48am this morning, Salomon Smith Barney indicated that:

1) they were confident that IDX would make 3 cents with revenues of $20.3 million, $9.5 mm of fingerprint revenues, flat expenses due to tight cost controls
1a) $30,000 in profits from Sylvan JV
2) the biometric fingerprint market is gaining momentum, but significant sales acceleration likely remains 12 months away
3) Identix remains the industry leader
4) Patient investors will be rewarded
