Doug, if they do an acquisition, I think it should be for cash, not stock. Yet even at this low stock value, there are many good companies out there selling at much lower price to book, price to sales and price to future earnings than CYMI, thus even a stock plus cash acquisition might make sense, as long as they do not do the kind of acquisition PMAT did last year, that will bury them like it did PMAT.

Look at VECO for a company which is judiciously exploiting the vicious environment to do smart acquisitions.
