AR,

For the following discussion and technical analysis (TA) please refer to a weekly chart for LCAV.

The left shoulder starts on week beginning 6/2/97 and continues over to 10/6/97 (a distance of 18 weeks). At this date the price falls away to begin the head formation, culminating in the lowest price (peak of head) of $0.5625 on 1/5/98 (week). The right shoulder starts on week beginning 4/13/98 reaching the neckline of $4.1875 on that date. From that date to last week was 14 weeks (4 weeks shorter than the left shoulder). When you measure the price differential of the head to the neckline you get a measuring distance of $3.71875 (4.28125-0.5625=3.71875).

Adding the measuring distance of 3.71875 to the neckline price of 4.28125 you get a projection of $8.00/share for LCAV. It is important to note that $8.00 was the the weekly low 3/25/96 to 6/3/96, a recent high of $8.50 on week 4/28/97.

In summary, what this means is that if the price of LCAV penetrates $4.28125 on a closing basis and with high volume, the projected price of $8.00 a share will be realized.

Harry
