Hello Pete,

Get Fridays edition of Investor's Business Daily and look at the last section I think on the last page. You will find their weekly review which lists the strongest stocks with most of them being 90 or above in both RS and EPS. Try filling your database with these stocks and see how your results change. I would think that most of the indicators and systems we talk about on these Boards will show better results when they are run against good strong stocks....

I know a lot of people say that a system is only good if it works using ALL stocks but I say that's for the theorist and not for the traders.. My goal in life is not to develop the greatest trading theory in the world. My goal is to make money trading. The best way I know of to do that is by stacking the deck as much as I can in my favor. People will say that when the Market turns you will lose all your money... These people are the ones who haven't made any money to lose.... When the Market turns you will know because you will SEE it on the charts. If you are only buying strong stocks that are GOING UP, you will not be involved with the ones that are going down. That's why we always tell people to CUT YOUR LOSSES!!!!! There should always be TWO exits for every trade. The first is your pre-defined exit signal and the second is your pre-defined percentage loss.... These two exit strategies are like your American Express card, YOU DON'T ENTER A TRADE WITHOUT THEM!!!!! Dave Evans
