The initial evaluation phase has been targeted for completion in 90 days at APTX's facilities in Commerce. APTX hopes to be able to incorporate 3M's System 2000 printer in its production operation by the end of 1998 following completion of the evaluation, any needed development activity and upon successful completion of further negotiations with 3M.

Let's see, the above press release came out April 30th. Ninety days..hmmmm. That was about 87 dayz ago. 90 minus 87 = 3 (glad I got up to Calculus 2 in college). So, what we have here is a rough estimate date by which APTX should complete the evaluation phase on 3M's System 2000 digital printer. BTW, the System 2000 is the Worlds FASTEST digital printer to be used on fabrics. This should help speed up production on a large scale, as APTX can only print 32 linear meters per hour. The 3M machine boasts 150 linear meters per hour. APTX wants to further increase the speed to 300.

So, in my opinion, according to the above facts, higher than average volume and staying power over the past two trading sessions, I believe we may have a positive evaluation of the 3M machine. Looks like news may have leaked out late Friday. Seems there are a great many investors coming in at/near the ASK. This coupled with not much profit taking today leads me to believe we are on the launch pad.

Ofcourse these are just my opinions and feelings on the most recent activity. Anyone else want to take a "guess" ?
