which I don't quite get, as diamonds form in high heat and pressure, so a cooler area wouldn't help much (except to keep them intact during transport to the surface). And is all mantle rock less dense than what's below? Well, you can simply answer the question. We'll give Jesse congrats or grief if he got it right or wrong.
Finally, what is the range of the magnetic signatures on kim, and is more better? Another thread seemed to talk about 10-40 nT, and one anomaly that was 200 nT. Does it matter?
