As regard to beer, let me give you just a little idea for over here, and that goes for Miller as well as Bud in Switzerland: They both have only very small marketshare because the local beer lobby is holding a firm grip on reataurants and bars, etc. You can buy U.S beers in stores (not so many) at relatively high (normally too high) prices, as it is flewn in from the U.S. (not entirely sure for Bud on this one)

To have a U.S. beer in a bar late night, with babes and music and stuff is regarded as chic (Miller Genuine Draft is the top choice then). But it will then cost north of $6 a bottle in the "right" bar.

Miller and Bud really are "something special" over here, no real penetration.
