Stock Bull, of course growth must be managed. What Dell has accomplished doesn't happen in a vacuum. It would have been impossible for Dell to achieve the kind of growth it saw without top flight management. Why do you think that Tom Meredith is CFO of the year? Without his shortening of the cash conversion cycle the financial engine to sustain the expansion of plants world wide coupled with stock buy-backs would have been impossible. The point behind my original post was to point out the inane arguments of a self-proclaimed expert. Those posts were made nearly a year ago and now we find that Dell and Compaq are running neck and neck in US sales. TTFN, CTC
