Scott (and anyone else who can shed light on this matter): Your question <<So my question to you is, How much time in your opinion do you think it will take to see Novell trade at a PE based on 97 numbers not 96 .8 to .9 instead of .35?>> is what is at issue.

Everything I have seen up until now led me to believe your #'s are what we are dealing with. But if you go to

ultra.zacks.com

and type in NOVL you get the following data:

Research Analysts' Earnings Estimates and Actuals:
Consensus estimate for current fiscal year: $ 0.85 per share
Consensus estimate for next fiscal year: $ 0.78 per share
Consensus estimate for current quarter: $ 0.19 per share
Last quarter's actual earnings :$ 0.17 per share
Last quarter's EPS Surprise: 0 %

So here's the issue. If I were an investor and went to Zack's to get a feel for how this company is doing I would see a troubled company that earned $0.85 this year with a consensus showing they will do quite a bit worse next year. Hardly a sterling example of a turn-around in progress. Am I missing something or is something terribly wrong? Please, can someone explain where I went astray?

Confused as usual, Marty
