Art (or anyone else),

Getting accurate, useful info from Investor Relations people?

I haven't had much luck getting useful information from investor relations people at various companies that I invest in. I'm curious if others, who've had good results at this, would mind sharing some specific questions that they've gotten good answers to. By good answers I mean information that gives me a more educated picture about their future prospects.

The problem is I always get the impression that based on what I've heard, the future looks great, so go out and buy more shares.

They are restricted, due to fear of lawsuits, from giving me the answers that I really want to know. What are some good questions to ask them? Can I rely on them not to lie to me? Why?
