>>> Double in 6 monthes....<<< Maybe not that fast...

Nissan is huge and in the case of Nissan Diesel, losing money by the truck load, literally... Daimler wants to strenghten its position in Asia. They have the long term vision and the muscle to do it. They also have other businesses to support their undertakings. The problem for Nissan at the moment is the dismal Japanese economy, perillous situation in Asia, and sclerosis at the political level in their country. I think it is cheap at this price, and from my grassroot approach (surveys among friends, I live in Japan) the Nissan products are good per se, although lacking the hip touch of Honda and the solid sales and distribution, support of Toyota, the quality itself is comparable. Nissan is more like a sleeping giant in need of some radical new exercise regimen. From what I have gleaned here and there it has started a ruthless (by Japanese standards) cost cutting drive and has taken some bold steps faced with a do or die challlenge.

All that to say, I don't see a double in 6 months... although I would love to be wrong...
