The Business Case: Microsoft Has Muscle, But Car War Is Tough

internetworld.com

Mark Lorimer, president of Auto-By-Tel. He said his firm's diligence in policing dealers and working to improve customer satisfaction sets his service apart from all the newcomers.

....Hmmm, sounds familiar.

Microsoft's use of Windows to promote Internet Explorer and its subsequent use of the browser to promote services like CarPoint are among the reasons why the company is being sued by the Justice Department and 20 state attorneys general. That case is pending trial.

...Hmmm, Norwest(now part of Wells Fargo), please take note, Microsoft announced just last month that it entered the mortgage business. I wonder what IE is going to point to? (MS or Norwest)
