Readers digest version.

CYMI is still kicking butt. Komatsu and Lambda are at least a full generation behind. Semi industry remains in a downturn probably until end of 1999 or early 2000. Leading edge equipment makers including CYMI will see a pickup 6 months sooner.

Orion will raise the bar even further and cost more: available by the end of this quarter (September, I believe).

$9M balance sheet debt is in Japanese Yen at 1.6% which made better sense than taking its US cash (5%+ taxfree income) and converting it to a weaker currency.

Masks will not be a limiting factor preventing .18æm design rules. Very few layers will actually need .18æm features. Thus more than adequate mask making capacity exists.

Scott's version will be much more interesting...

Ian.
