Jeff,MA can be calculated in many different ways. eg.5 day MA = close
of last five days added together divided by 5.One can also include the
daily highs and lows into the calculation.There is also the possibility
of weighting the averages as well as expontentializing the averages
which involves applying a greater weight toward the nearby movements.
Sorry,I do not know of any good books on MA.Purpose of MA is to smooth
out price movement and help to make sense of volatile movements.Many
traders work off of MA alone,waiting for crosses to occur of various
averages.
Yes in most cases filling of a recent gap would mean one is looking for
a correction.
Pam,my understanding is that management has said that they plan to be current
by the end of january,obviously providing that no major problems arise.
No doubt new lease agreements are more stringent and will have a detrimental
effect on number of FP's.The new lease agreement sounds like your basic
car lease.It will problably drop FP numbers by a couple of thousand.I
completely agree with this move as there is too much BS involved in a
cxl clause,including a much longer credit check process.Management
should however advertise other methods of payment other than just the
48 month lease.
I firmly believe that a computor lease,in the future,will become much
more important than a automobile lease.eg.We just became a one car family
because the car was just sitting there rusting and devaluing in price.Squirels were
storing nuts in the engine.Gives one an idea of how little I used it.
Sure would not want to be a new car salesperson working on a margin of
less than 2%.
