Hey E!

Yup, MU was real strong today and yet they still have an earnings problem. LSI on the other hand has been predictable with its earnings and has the potential for higher earnings in '99 and yet they are struggling around their lows. There is something going on that I don't quite understand but maybe things will start changing.

Stochastics looks like an oversold condition. Volume is getting higher and negativity appears to be at an all time high(The "K" squeal factor)-vbg-.

I do not understand why it is not moving up at this point but with a fraction down today on high volume is not a bad indicator. I believe the Lemmings are just waiting for some upgrades and revision of earnings for the remaining of '98 and '99. Then they will have confidence to move the stock back upward.

As far as what Wilf was saying in his conference call about Q3 and Q4 it does look abiguous about Revenue vs earnings b/c of the misplaced modifier in his sentence structure...but IMO he was referring to earnings when he said Q3 flat and Q4 sharply up. That was the subject at the time. It was the same reference that he made in the previous conference calls, always to earnings not to revenues. Now how the analysts translate this into the revisions is the big question.

I understood that the revenues could see sequential growth in the Q3 but the margin is expected to be in the low 40's which will cause the flat earnings. Well it looks like 10 people can hear the same story and yet come up with 10 different interpretations.<g>
