Placing $60 million in bonds thru a private offering is a vote of confidence to the management team of THQ. AMZN did the same thing recently and saw its stock price soar. This new debt is obviously not negative if it is put to good use. Successful companies need funds to grow bigger and buyout other companies. I don't see other companies such as CSCO being penalized for this type of business strategy. We'll see.
