Oh gosh yees! But wouldn't that clash with DEC Blue? Would it blend in with the bone colored Sparc's? And what about the SGI Indigo blue-grey? Oh dear, I'm afraid black might be bad.

Perhaps Ancor could issue a catalogue like car divisions. Each customer could order their choice of base colors, with the Rx/Tx "trim" in a suitable complementary color. For another 'splash' of fashion, the cables could blend in with the switch and the surroundings.

I can hear the Ancor sales team now. "Ooh, for mauve lab floor boards, Chartruce Seagate drives, and the Azure HP boxes, we recommend the salmon MKII with the lavender trim and the peach cables"
