Stuart, The B-T-B is manipulated IMO by the industry. I talk to some friends who work for semi mfg co. and they say business is down but the #'s beeing reported are up! The B-T-B is going to be replaced in Jan 97 with a sales driven index (no book!) and I suspect that this may encorage fudging the book #'s as it will be difficult to confirm once the index is replaced.
What do you think about this up coming changes effect on the semi stocks?
