Lara Croft mania is still going strong. After all, there's the upcoming
Tomb Raider III, a new coffee table book about Lara by Douglas
Coupland, a Tomb Raider movie in development at Paramount, and now

Has anyone seen a preview for Daikatana saying anything POSITIVE? I have seen nothing but BAD press...and the release is pushed to '99? Can this be correct? (from aug. CGW) After Dominion Storm, I don't have a lotta faith in Ion Storm. Is this thing going to still be using the Quake engine? in '99?

By the way, the same issue has 8 continuous pages of Eidos adds, including the first I have seen for Gangsters...

Strategy plus also has a review of FF7. 4 out of 5 stars, not bad, but then they rec. only buying from a store that accepts refunds...they say it has a hard time running on many machines...hey, the demo crashed my machine...

I have seen the Lara book. The it was only a glance, I must say that I was somewhat disappointed. Half of it was a strategy guide. Not much "insightful" text. I think I expected too much, given the background of the writer...
