Maybe traders are rolling their puts out from Sep/Oct out to Jan. This make sense, because Oct. options are likely before the next earnings announcment. The implied vols. seem to have stabilized at the approx 86% level, which I'd say is about farily valued given AMZN's actual volatility. This means, that unless they figure out how to flat line AMZN (and that might be possible on no news and light volume), I doubt the vols. will move down a lot lower from here, until/if AMZN asserts itself to the downside.
