Hi Porc,

Been staying off the Value Thread as I've been day/position trading, certainly not endorsed by BG or WB.

I started to respond on the issue of how many stocks to have in a portfolio, but thought better of it. I believe it was Phil Fisher who stated that the appropriate number was somewhere between the starting line up of a basketball team and a baseball team. I thought it made sense.

I do believe that I've shown that you can achieve superior results with a diversified portfolio. Before last week's sell-off it was beating the Index by more than 50%. I'm a bit busy now and will wait until Aug to post a nine month update. It works, and that's good enough for me!

I don't think that I've held a position in July for more than a week. I've made my share of mistakes and not totally pleased with my performance over the last two weeks. But then, I'm beating the Index by a 3x factor so I guess I should be happy. Frankly, I'll be glad to get out of this quarterly earnings frenzy, as it creates real problems with TA.
