Harwood, you have good things to say, but don't group the optimists as hypsters. I will tell you exactly what happened.
The company was cash poor, and needed a "shot" in the arm. So, they came up with some bs story about a certain company being interested in doing a deal with this company. The interest was there, but they were never close to a deal as there were many questions to be answered. First, how the data was collected, which from one of my sources told me were unconventional and needed to be substantiated.
The next phase? Explain to the public that the "deal" that everyone anticipated was not going to happen, and then the real party for the insiders and dumping of stock on to the market. The market got hammered because certain individuals, you know who you are, decided to get friends and associates out of this deal. Now what? Well, they did assemble a good team. But we all know that bad management can destroy companies and lies snowball.
Well, now we are left holding a ton of shares while others who were privy to the timelines and deadlines got out only to reload for the next run, who knows when that will be.
I have still got a ton of shares and stand to lose a hell of a lot of money because I was naive and didn't listen to the little voice that got louder and louder. Getting to involved with any BSE play can leave one in the dust. Now, it is just a numbers game.
What to do now? Do you sell everything? I guess you can. CLK seems like he has abadoned ship. What others intentions were and what happened are hard to prove. So if you, harwood, are pointing fingers at CLK, then you must have proof. I can only say that this was a carefully orchestrated BSE scam that involved everyone related to company PAST and a select few present. the motivations of everyone on this thread, with the exception of myself, is to pump the stock at any cost.
After the AGM, I felt the "pie in the sky" attitude conveyed to us shareholders seemed plausible. But lets face it, there were other individuals in the background manipulating the market and selling off because they KNEW that the play was in trouble or had at least another year to payoff. Maybe.
I could get in trouble for saying this on the thread, but I don't care. I know more about this play and wish I never had. I still own a substantial chunk, and now I wish I had BRe-X shares instead. I am absolutely disgusted with this play and perverse attitude of all involved on the market side. These "social" perverts only stand to make more money on the backs of honest hard working people like myself who felt that the fundamentals in place were enough to drive this stock. We all know that is a load of BS.
To all at Epic, excluding some of the good people I know there, stop playing around and get on with business. Time is no longer on your side, and the market is crumbling in front of us. You will not have anything left of this company and therefore the shareholders will have everything to lose. Then again, that has not been your concern in the past, so what is to change now.
Finally, everyone on this thread has said something that hasn't been the whole TRUTH. We do know that the internet provides the opportunity to discuss stocks and also to convince others of their own beliefs. The fact is, when the stock was falling into oblivion, the posts on this thread became inconsistent with rational thought, and market fundamentals. I don't know why, but it happened.
I don't think this company will survive the next 30 days, in fact, the company is toast unless something comes along that will validate all the bs that has been fed to the shareholders. This company would be cash rich if they could sell their lies for millions.
