VALENCIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1998--FutureNet Online Inc. FNET , a leading international network marketing company, has signed an agreement with WebSurfer Inc. to market the WebSurfer Internet TV set-top box throughout the world.
WebSurfer technology is unique and surpasses other Internet terminals with the inclusion of the powerful Intel processor, a word processing application, Internet access and e-mail capabilities. WebSurfer is also the first and only set-top box in the world that will provide Internet Telephony.
This feature offers users point-to-point voice communication over the Internet anywhere in the world free of long-distance charges. WebSurfer will provide Spanish-language support as an integrated application.
