Ed,

"Win98 was released which will have the same effect as Win95". I'd like to know where you get that idea. The vast amjority of current Win95 users are not upgrading to Win98. Most are more than happy to stay where they are with Win95. Also, every survey that I have seen so far shows that the corporate world is avoiding Win98 like the plague. So, although you are correct that the base number of desktops out there is much larger than a couple years ago, the dynamics of the Win95 release vs the Win98 release ARE NOT THE SAME! Win98 sales will slow down quickly compared to the Win95 days.
