Dear Robert;
Allow me a few more questions.
2Sa 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
1. Where is the place that God will appoint? 2. Is the reference to "my people Israel" the nation of Israel and are they Jews? 3. Who are the children of wickedness? 4. How are they being afflicted?
<<David reached into the New Covenant to provide for his total forgiveness and reconciliation to God>>
Was this available to others or was David unique in being able to reach forward to the New Covenant? Was David still under the Law?
I was able to answer one of my own questions in the text you provided.
Isa 41:14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, [and] ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. I assume that thy redeemer refers to Yeshua. Also in ISA 43 Isa 43:3 For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. The Holy one of Israel is the Saviour. In Hebrew the word Yeshua means YHWH is salvation. Praise God.
What do you think?
