Jbn,and THREAD TRADERS Re: should I place a stop loss under Dell on earnings day (in case Dell doesn't beat the whisper)? How far underneath the selling price should one place the stop loss order, given the volatility of the stock. Is it a good idea at all? With all the good news yesterday on PC sales will the guys who concoct the whisper number raise it? I sometimes think they do this deliberately as a way of scaring people into selling Dell so they can make a short term profit. I expect Dell to be at 130 by Aug 17. thanks jhg
