I'm heard basically two different opinions.

1) A small controlled float coupled with buying pressure shoots the price way up. IMHO, this leads to easier manipulation, thus creating a sharp decrease in price after a run-up.

2) A small controlled float couple tightly held reduces liquidity, therefore a stalemate.
