GMGC will not require activation of 5,000 to 10,000 new Portico accounts during the first 12 months. It does, however, require 1000 new accounts during the first 12 months. With few exceptions and again, GMGC requires that the authorized resellers have an established customer base, with multiple locations, have at least 8 sales reps. peddling Portico, and sign up a minimum of 1000 new customers within the first 12 months. Note also that each Authorized Reseller is being authorized by GMGC to create sub-dealers in other states, cities, etc. I am aware of several sub-dealer relationships being created. Essentially, the sub-dealers operate on the same terms as the Authorized Resellers, though as independent contractors under the given Authorized Reseller, and the Authorized Resellers then skim a little off the top.
My best guess (and all I can do is guess) is that we'll have 100,000 to 150,000 new Portico subscribers within the next 12 months. I of course hope my guesstamate is low and that the number is 250,000 or better. |
