DenverTechie,
Do you know much about the "programmable switches" technology that Cisco received with the Summa Four purchase? Is this something that may give them an advantage in selling to the telcos? Cisco has a hell of a battle trying to get their business with a traditional telecom equipment supplier partner.

I'm wondering if this Summa Four deal offers something the telcos may be interested in. Sounds like to this, "non-techie" it gives Cisco a bridge between their expertise, packet switches, to the telco world of circuit switches. Any opinions appreciated.
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)
