So in other words, you never have looked at the product, Tim. Unlike McAfee, Norton's scanner also does virus removal. So yeajh, you're right in that it only has a scanner, but incorrect in that it lacks the ability to clean up infected files. This is the NT scanner which won editor's choice in NT Magazine's NT virus software roundup a couple of months ago.

The last time I saw a NT Tools box on the shelf? That would have been last week when I was at Fry's.

A friend of mine was asking me about antivirus software Saturday night. He'd been in Egghead, and the salesman recommended Norton Antivirus 2.0 to him because it was the highest quality one, had free updates, and one-button virus defiunition updating.
