From Mylex's release seems they've done a little more than just a lay off - they've discontinued the development activities of their NP&L division. Also, their original release, if I recall correctly, said they anticipated savings of $1M quarterly and that they were going to incur all associated costs with the downsizing in Q2. Well the release says the saving are going to be $2M per quarter (pre-tax) and the the financial impact is going to be taken in Q3.

Well, I'm going to try the conference call now. Let's hope those folks who bought the large blocks knew what they were doing. I guess we'll know when the market opens tomorrow.
