Dave, I agree that short interest alone will not help this stock in the long term....it will need both good news which I believe is "likely", and positive results which I believe are "possible".

In the short term however, the large short position is a positive in that it will cause more volatility and therefore will open up good trading opportunities when some news eventually comes out.

Question for the shorts....if the "Zoltek 2000" plan is totally off track and the company headed for the dumpster, why is the all knowing, all controlling CEO still sitting on 5.5 million shares of the stock??
(and I don't consider his one sale of 100k of shares to be particularly significant.)
