LOD, stick to Dell. You are way out of your league on this one. You have mixed the most trivial things together and assumed thay are true and dangerous. For example, "travelgate". If true it is no worse than patronage. That doesn't make it right, but this is not the same kind of thing Nixon did. Vince Foster? Give me a break -- there is no evidence of anything oither than the mad imaginings of Scaife -- not one iota of credible truth of a murder. Monica Lewinsky???? you must be kidding . Even if true it simply doesn't matter. This kind of thing is a smokescreen to bring down a president by any means possible by people who couldn't do it by the ballot box.

Webster Hubble??? What has that to do with Clinton? And in any event, even if Clinton was engaged in all kinds of nefarious deeds before he became president this stuff pales in comparison to Nixon. And the man has every right to defend himself by whatever legal means exist.

I think that the campaign funding situation stinks! So go rail at Gingrich for stopping bipartisan legislation to close a bunch of soft money loopholes. Allegations of election wrongdoing and influence peddling have been made. This is serious and important stuff. It needs to be vigorously investigated. But this kind of alleged wrong-doing is much more serious than the rest of the nonsense you trotted out. So far all I've seen in the papers is that there is a complete lack of evidence to support the notion that Clinton sold secrets in return for election money (and I've followed this story very closely). Have you seen any evidence, not conjecture, that is different?
