Tealby:

Yeah, I've been following the CD thread both on SI and Yahoo...misery loves company ;-)

I guess this just ain't JD's month---now Ericsson is misbehaving and HLT is hitting new lows. Then again, if we're not daytraders (and we aren't, are we?) these should all be viewed as buying opportunites. The only hitch, of course, is that I, for one, have finite resources--an encumberance JD sometimes seems not to acknowledge. Presumably, as has been pointed out on this thread by others, one should not attempt to cherry-pick bit rather spread one's investable funds evenly over all JD's selections. This is only pragmatic if one has a fairly sizable sum to invest in which case it would make more sense to open an account with Dessauer & McIntyre Asset Management---which (not to be cynical) may be the whole point.

BTW, as I type this, it is being reported on CNBC that Walter Forbes as well as all the former CUC directors who are currently sitting on CD's BOD are stepping down! It will be interesting to see the market's reaction tomorrow.

Regards,
Wolf
